J.U. DETSKI DOM “11. OKTOMBRI” SKOPJE – MACEDONIA


Our responsibility is to provide a healthy emotional, social,  mental  and physical development for children without parents and without parental care who are beneficiaries of the services of our institution.


 Through our constant pursuit of business activities (child care, education, moral education, work, health care, aesthetic), we are trying to meet the requirements of this category of social protection at the highest level and to be of benefit for employees who are part of it. We believe that children are our future and this attitude was supported by our maximum commitment and dedication to create the conditions for healthy mental and physical development of children. In our work we are specifically committed to motivate, reward, recruit and retain professionals with outstanding capabilities who are maximally committed to the work that we provide professional development and a high degree of protection at work. Common for all employees is that they all share responsibility and contribute growing up of healthy individuals who qualify for independent living. Children's home “11 Oktomvri” as a social institution unique of its kind on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia is committed to build positive image of themselves and of the services that it offers, through continuous improvement of their quality, and in the interest of children without parents and parental care as well as employees who are an important segment for the daily successful operation of the same. 

The building of Children's Home " 11 Oktomvri " was designed and built for special purposes. It consists of nine residential units - apartments with a total capacity of 144 beds. 
Each apartment consists of: living room, four bedrooms with balconies, bathrooms and showers, but also a common room used by all children including: kitchen, ambulance, computer center, library, gym, large backyard, sports field and an amusement park. 
Educational work is based on the plan and program of director of the institution. Depending on the age and capacities of children, the same teaching content is adapted. 
• According to educational plan are developed taught moral values, rules and norms 
• The plan to build an intellectual work habits of intellectual work, intellectual guide to create and encourage continuation of higher education. 
• The Social Plan seeks socializing the young people in a social environment 

The goal is to build an independent personality, which, after successful completion of the stay would prolong the life of the society …
